About Aggie Plumbing – Fort Collins Plumbing Experts

Aggie Plumbing & Service was started in 2008 with Craig Unter and a pickup truck.  Craig’s vision was to open a service company that was different from the other bigger companies in Northern Colorado.  He took the knowledge he learned from working for previous companies and decided to design a company that was focused on customer service and not maximizing profit.

Over time, Aggie Plumbing expanded into new construction in both residential and commercial buildings.  Projects have included fire stations, medical offices, restaurants, salons, and government buildings and remodels. Aggie Plumbing has hired and retained some of the most knowledgeable and talented plumbers in the field.  Our licensed plumbers have over 75 years combined experience with Aggie.  We take care of our employees, so they feel empowered to take care of our customers and clients.

Our Plumbing Team

Craig Unter, Owner/President

Craig started plumbing in 1993 as an apprentice plumber for a large well-known plumbing company. He worked his way through service, new residential construction and large commercial projects including schools, hotels, and multi-unit buildings. He was able to obtain his Residential, Journeyman and Master plumbing license during this time. After several years of working for these large well known plumbing companies he decided to start Aggie Plumbing.

Being a longtime Fort Collins resident and a Colorado State alumni and avid Ram fan, he and his wife, Melissa decided that the “Aggie” name would be a good fit for a local plumbing company. And so, Aggie Plumbing & Service was born. In his free time Craig enjoys all that Fort Collins, Colorado has to offer including skiing, hiking, hanging with his family including their two energetic australian shepherds. You might find him socializing at a brewery or attending CSU football or basketball games with family and friends.

Jason Grim, Service Plumber

Jason started his plumbing career almost 25 years ago in the Pacific Northwest.  In Oregon the requirements to achieve a plumbing license include both experience in an education program and experience in both residential and commercial plumbing in the field.  Jason currently holds a journeyman plumber license and has been with Aggie Plumbing since 2015. Jason specializes in tricky pipe remodels, tracking down mysterious leaks and has attended training for Navien tankless water heaters.  In Jason’s free time you can find him riding horses with his wife, planning their next adventure vacation, hunting, fishing, camping and anything that takes him outdoors.

Chad Templeton, Service Plumber

Chad grew up in a small town in Iowa.  In high school he started working in the HVAC industry and working his way to be licensed in all avenues of heating and air.  He made the switch to plumbing in the late 1990s and hasn’t looked back.  He has worked on multiple large projects in the plumbing industry including installation of hydronics and medical gas piping.  In his spare time, he was also the go-to assistant to his wife’s flourishing flower business.  They decided to move their family to Colorado about 10 years ago where Chad continued to work in the plumbing field.  Chad enjoys camping with his family and seeking out various hot springs in his travels.  He enjoys watching football and working on the latest “honey-do” project his wife has planned for him.
